Electrodrives participated in the 16th edition of the Mill Operators Conference, organized by AusIMM and held from October 21 to 23, 2024, at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.
At its booth, Electrodrives showcased its most advanced technological solutions for the starting and control of wound rotor motors, including:
- FlexStarters: 2nd generation liquid resistance starters that combine robustness with precise control.
- SER Drive: slip energy recovery system that optimizes energy efficiency in SAG mills and, thanks to the FlexStarter, provides redundancy to the system to continue production even in the event of drive failure.
- RotorProtek: advanced protection device for wound rotor motors, enhancing safety and extending equipment lifespan.
Additionally, the company unveiled for the first time its new R&D development: a universal control system for power electronics inverters, designed to improve integration and performance in complex industrial applications.
