Last week, Electrodrives successfully completed a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) with our customer for a 6,500kW SER drive and liquid resistance starter (LRS) designed for a SAG mill application. The scope also included the LRS for a ball mill of the same rating. The equipment performed flawlessly throughout all test procedures.
The units are now being prepared for shipment to our customer in South Africa, with commissioning scheduled for the end of the year.
